This great budget hotel was a nice base for relaxing and having fun in Angouleme. the venue had a central location near the lift waiting areas.

Architectually the complex is a stunning conversion from a ruined abbey. Ten out ten for this. Everything is brandnew, a pleasure. Positioned on the river, easy to find.

Furnishing the small units could have been done much better. Visitors should be aware that an uncomfortable sofabed awaits them, which takes up most of the available space when pulled out. The promised dishwasher is more a gadget than practical, as it is postioned on the floor under the sink, unless you fancy loading and unloading on your knees. There is no need though. Walk uphill to the old town where there is restaurant galore. I was greatly looking forward to staying in Appart'city Angouleme, but was glad to leave. Yet, I would return, but will then book a unit for 4 people. This ensures a proper bed.

The hotel was unique with magnificent views and an unbeatable location in the valley close to the river. Location: the venue was short walk to river walks and the business districts. Dined at Le Chergui, it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue.

The location here is fantastic, making it easy to visit the Musee du Papier, and the room is spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette that includes a microwave oven, dishwasher, and coffee/tea makers that all work perfectly.

The staff here were friendly and helpful, and the location is conveniently close to the river, a popular pizza spot, lift waiting areas, and the town center.

Good clean accommodation with well stocked kitchen equipment. The beds were a little hard, but for only a night stop it was fine. The morning breakfast was a little disapointing. We were pleased that they allowed our dog in the room! He enjoyed his stay too!

I loved the atmosphere in the reception area because it is situated in what remains of a 12th century abbey. Spacious apartment. I enjoyed very much the way the old buildingwas given a new destination.

The appartment I was in had one strange annoyance: a narrow space next to the double bed is the only passage to the bathroom. The staff told me this will be solved when new beds arrive. I had some trouble getting the internet to work. The staff told me that when I opened a browser the welcome screen would come up, but with me it did not. The conniction is not wireless but wired and it only worked when I finally figured out that I had to change the setting for ip address to 'automatically assing ip address'.

The room was spacious and featured a nice shower, as well as convenient amenities like a microwave, dishwasher, and fridge.

We stayed in an apartment that could sleep 4 - there were 2 of us but we wanted a proper bed, not a sofa bed. It was OK but the furnishings were basic and the space was used poorly

The staff were extremely friendly and amicable all of the time. Our studio suite was well-equipped and had kitchenette.
